there are times when travis just loves to be a little model for the camera.  I love his playful spirit and wonderful imagination these days.  he is my joy!

old friends are the best...

on wednesday we did a fun shoot with some old friends of ours.  we've known each other since high school, and it was fun to be back at the park where used to hang out way back then!  it's amazing how time flies and how everything changes.  we had a great time taking their photos!

an impromptu shoot

this morning we did a very impromptu shoot of tyler, since she was in such a cute mood & just wanted to hang out in bed.  travis was jumping all around (being his wild self) entertaining her, and I just love the shots we got...

today we did a shoot for a precious family, jeff, ivy, tyler & eli.  they were so much fun to work with!  here are some of our top picks from today...

yesterday we had a lot of fun shooting at our good old favorite location, the nutmeg park.  seems like all the other photographers in the area have caught on to this gorgeous location as well!  joshua was in much better spirits yesterday at our shoot, and enjoyed having our son travis there to keep him company!  they had fun searching for bugs, pinecones, chasing each other through the trees, and searching for monsters in the woods.  what wonderful imaginations children have!

a cute family, a missed nap, & a beautiful day at the plateau...

today we did a shoot at the plateau with an adorable family...marisa, mike & their precious son joshua.  however, as all parents know, 2-year-olds can be very unpredictable, especially when they miss their nap, haha!  joshua was not very happy and was definitely not in the mood to take pictures, but we gave it our best and still managed to get some good shots!  we'll be re-shooting again tomorrow at one of our long-time favorite locations, the nutmeg park.  so stay tuned for more pics from tomorrow's session!

we did another engagement shoot yesterday in the wineries for an adorable couple, amy & geoff.  it was such a beautiful day, and the scenery was just so gorgeous!
